      • Oseberg is a next-generation oil & gas information and data analytics company that offers a compelling new approach to rapidly convert public regulatory and county-level data into actionable intelligence. We aggregate the most inaccessible state, federal, and county records and deliver them to our users through a suite of all-encompassing B2B SaaS products that enable our users to search, map, mine, and perform statistical analysis on every strand of data. Our technology reduces weeks and months of work to days and hours, empowering our users to rapidly uncover leasing, drilling, enhanced completion, and acquisition opportunities.

    • How does Oseberg do this?
      • We apply machine learning, webscraping tools, domain modeling, and natural language processing to extract legal clauses buried deep within complex documents, creating high-quality, normalized and structured data sets.

    • Who uses Oseberg and what do they use it for?
      • A wide range of users, from upstream and midstream segments to companies adjacent to the energy industry, use Oseberg to make smarter decisions faster with public and regulatory data in Oklahoma, Texas & New Mexico (with more states on the way). Landmen, geologists, mineral buyers, brokers, analysts, engineers, and more use our data, analysis, visualization, and products to forecast activity, discover better opportunities, and to monitor competitors in their territories, as well as across the county, state, and country.     • In what geographic regions do you currently operate?
      • Currently we offer regulatory and county-level land and lease data in Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico. We are constantly expanding our coverage and will soon be moving into Colorado, Louisiana, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and more. Our frac data is nation wide.

    • What types of documents can I expect to find in Oseberg’s products?
      • Below is a list of the types of documents we provide for each geographic region we operate in. We strive to clean, normalize, and upload data into our system within 24 hours of availability (depending on agency submission frequency).

        Oklahoma:
        • Regulatory (OCC, OTC): Filings, Permits, Completions, Transfers, Commingles, Pluggings, Production.

        • County Filings: All OK County Records (including leases, assignments, deeds, partial assignments, memos, etc.) + Canadian, Cleveland, Creek, Oklahoma, Payne, Pottawatomie, Woods, Caddo, Garfield, Grady, & Hughes.

        • Hearing Apps & Orders: Poolings, Spacings, Increased Density, Location Exceptions & Unitizations.

        Texas:
        • Regulatory (RRC) Filings: Pending Permits, Pending Production, Permits, Completions, Field Rules, Injection & Disposal Data, Transfers, Production, Pluggings

        • County Filings: Leases, Memos, Extensions, Assignments.     • What products do you offer?
      • We offer a suite of B2B SaaS products that enable our users to search, map, mine, and perform statistical analysis on our data. These products are:

        • Sól: an elegant, web-based search and alerting engine built on a database of regulatory filings in Oklahoma and Texas.

        • Atla: a robust mapping and visualization tool for regulatory and county-level documents and data in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. Atla makes it easy to query, map, and filter data so you can identify and analyze trends quickly and easily.

        • dataStream: an API that provides direct access to our data via a web service.

        • eFrac: our hydraulic fracturing data solution that transforms unstructured frac data into a standardized and normalized database that elegantly tells the story of every frac.

    • Will you be expanding into new geographic markets any time soon?
      • As of summer 2017, we have entered New Mexico in addition to Oklahoma and Texas for regulatory and county-level data. We are constantly expanding our coverage and will soon be moving into Colorado, Louisiana, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and more.

        With the introduction of eFrac in summer 2017, we have over 120,000 wells with frac information in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming.

    • What is a CSM?
      • A CSM, or Client Success Manager, is a domain expert and Oseberg resource available to you at any time.  Oseberg CSMs are dedicated to ensuring you receive maximum value from our data, our products, and your investment.

    • How do I contact my CSM?
      • CSMs are available via email, telephone, or text.

    • What do I do if I have ideas for ways to improve the product?
      • Please share these ideas with your CSM. We take client suggestions seriously, and our CSMs channel your ideas into our product roadmap.

    • What level of contact can I expect with my CSM?
      • As much or as little as you want or need. Your CSM will ensure proper onboarding and training when you are new to Oseberg and will be available at any time afterwards should you have additional questions.
